Graduate Program
In the Department of Physics, which was established in 1997 within the body of the Faculty of Science (Arts and Sciences) of Dokuz Eylul University, the graduate education program came into effect in 1998 1999 and started to give graduate graduates. With the opening of the doctoral program as of the 2003-2004 academic year, the service contribution of our department to postgraduate education has been increased. General Physics, High Energy and Plasma Physics, Atomic and Molecular Physics, Nuclear Physics and Solid State Physics are the main branches of the department. The lessons given in the physics program particularly emphasize the advanced physics that take into account the basics of physics and all these basic areas. The research laboratories of the department are equipped with the research equipment required for scientific research provided with the support of Dokuz Eylül University Scientific Research Projects Fund and The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK).
